My photography journey started in high school when I picked up my first film camera at an estate sale. I had no idea what I was doing, I just mostly loved vintage things and thought it looked cool (I also collect vintage typewriters!). It was an old Pentax K1000. The shutter squeaked every time, and the battery was so corroded it couldn't be used. But it took pictures, and that's what mattered. I was hooked. I fell in love with the depth and intentionality of shooting on film, and I aim to emulate that timeless style in my digital work. There's something about the nostalgia of a bit of grain that takes a photo to a whole new level. I started out with travel photography, but my passion for portraiture and timeless romance led me to specialize in elopements, destination weddings, and intimate couples shoots.
When I decided to pursue photography as my career, I knew I was going down the path that I feel most connected to at my core, and doing the thing I feel happiest doing! I believe that part of how God made me is with the ability to feel things deeply and connect with the emotions of others in my work as a result. I can't wait to get to know you. I prioritize connection, movement, and interaction. I believe in the beauty of imperfection and the importance of telling a story with heart and truth. My favorite photos are ones that capture the candid, raw, true-to-life moments that you could blink and miss, but that make up a lifetime.

I love to take a lot of pictures. But I also love to slow down and be intentional about them. In my book, having a those few incredible images with the wow factor that you come back to admire again and again will always be worth more than hundreds of photos that sit in a folder you never look at.

I'm a sucker for the timeless look and feel of film photography; there's nothing quite like it! My style emulates this look so your photos will be gorgeous and timeless, never outdated.

Low-maintenance, high emotion.
I'am a storyteller at heart, inspired by my love of literature and cinema. I put my whole heart into every part of my work, from getting to know you to editing your photos with care and precision. I want my work to reflect my heart for what I do as well as all the emotion and love I'm capturing in the lens. I also fully believe a photoshoot should be fun, laid-back, no stress!

Photography is silent storytelling, and I want to help my clients' stories come to life in a real, authentic way that is unique to them. I want them to feel beautiful and experience joy each time they look at their pictures. My goal is to create images that really capture the essence of who my clients are. I also aim to stretch myself creatively and inspire my clients to do the same, because I believe some of the most valuable photos we can have are the ones we're not looking at the camera, because we're feeling and living that moment as it happens. I also want my clients to have a blast with the whole experience. Photos should be filled with real joy, and I will do everything I can to make sure your time with me is not stressful or exhausting, but fun and exciting. :)
