On a soft, rainy Sunday in May, Taylor and Parker celebrated their brunch wedding surrounded by their closest friends and family at Silver Oaks Chateau in Pacific, Missouri. This wedding was the perfect balance of modern elegance and heartfelt intimacy.
As a documentary and film wedding photographer, I love capturing the natural, unscripted moments that unfold throughout the day — rain and all. The weather may have brought the umbrellas out, but it only added to the romantic, editorial vibe of their celebration.
From the very first details, Taylor & Parker’s wedding vision came to life through a palette of fresh greens, soft yellows, and creamy ivories. Every corner of Silver Oaks Chateau’s light-filled indoor spaces was thoughtfully styled.
While rain wasn’t part of the original plan, it became a beautiful part of the story. Taylor and Parker embraced the drizzle with grace (and clear umbrellas!), creating some of my favorite portraits of the entire day.
In true Sunday brunch fashion, the couple curated a relaxed, inviting vibe for their guests. After the ceremony, guests were treated to a brunch menu—and instead of a traditional wedding cake, Taylor & Parker opted for a donut dessert bar. It was fun and delicious (and yes, I absolutely took a few shots of those donuts before they were devoured!).
Throughout Taylor & Parker’s day, I focused on capturing the authentic in-between moments — candid laughter, quiet nerves, emotional moments, happy tears. My documentary-style, editorial approach allows these unscripted moments to shine while still creating a gallery full of artful, cinematic images that feel intentional and timeless.

Whether it was the quiet moments while getting ready, the sweet first look, or sneaking away for umbrella portraits in the rain — every photo tells a part of their story. I was truly honored to be able to share that with Taylor & Parker, who are such kind and genuine people! My favorite weddings are the ones where I feel like old friends with the couple from the jump.
