Hey friend! Let me take you on a journey through a recent dreamy home maternity shoot that’s extra special to me. I had the honor of photographing my dear friend Becca’s maternity session right in the comfort of her cozy home.

The Mother-to-Be

First off, let me introduce you to Becca. We go way back, all the way to middle school (!). She truly is one of my oldest friends, and we’ve weathered so much life together. We were even roommates at two different times in our lives! So, when she asked me to document this magical time in her life, I was beyond thrilled. Nothing is more special than seeing your friend become a mother! And let me tell you, Becca was absolutely glowing – the epitome of radiant motherhood.

The Benefits of a Home Maternity Shoot

One of the best parts of shooting at home? The authenticity it brings. There’s no need to worry about posing or putting on a show. It’s just Becca and me, capturing the real, raw moments as they unfold. It was also so great to shoot with someone who knows me well, as she was more than down to let me experiment and get creative with dreamy elements during shooting.

As we moved from room to room, exploring different corners of their home, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for being a part of this intimate journey. These are the moments that make my heart sing as a photographer – capturing the magic of love, connection, and new beginnings.
